About Opportunity International Canada

Opportunity International is a non-profit organization that provides microfinance for people in chronic poverty to improve their lives.  Founded in 1971, Opportunity International provides small business loans, savings, insurance and training to the working poor in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and Latin America.  85% of Opportunity International’s 1.2 million loan clients are women.

Mozambique

Opportunity International Canada partners with affiliate organizations in Australia, Germany, the UK and the US to raise and invest funds in Opportunity International’s microfinance initiatives throughout the developing world.  Currently, Opportunity International Canada is raising funds for microfinance projects in Colombia, Ghana, Mozambique, Peru and Rwanda.
